Moo’d Swing, now in its 19th year, consists of Donna Green, Mike Sanderson, Bob Birnie and Rachel Melas.
The combined age of Moo’d Swing is approximately 386 years, not counting the guest musicians. Miraculously, we are still talking to each other after playing together over all these years with 2 rehearsals a week. Not many bands have gone that distance; it must be the music!
We play vintage music (early 20th century) with unique vocal arrangements (essential to our sound) on acoustic instruments (guitars, banjo, ukulele, upright bass) while adding a twist or two in re-inventing old jazz classics.
